Usemybusiness' privacy policy is designed to help you understand how your information is protected, collected and used,
which may be updated by Usemybusiness occasionally. Usemybusiness will provide notice of materially significant changes
to this privacy policy by posting notice on the Usemybusiness site, located at UseMyBusiness.com (collectively,
"UseMyBusiness" or "Website").

By using or accessing UseMyBusiness, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Your privacy
We don't engage in cross-marketing or link-referral programs with other sites.
We don't send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. By default, we use a persistent cookie that stores your login ID (but not your password) to make it easier for you to login when you come back to UseMyBusiness.
You can remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser if you want to disable this convenience feature.
Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.
Account section uses basic webserver authentication. Click "Logout" or close your browser to log out.
Usemybusiness does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 18. If Usemybusiness learns that an account is created by a person under the age of 18, Usemybusiness will remove that account.
Usemybusiness, or people who sign up on Usemybusiness, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.

Information we gather
We collect your email address upon signup, for purposes such as sending confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, etc. During sign up we also collect: phone number, address and business name in order to further insure account validity.
Usemybusiness does not store credit card information. Although Credit card transactions are not currently processed on Usemybusiness, future Credit card transactions will be transmitted to a financial gateway, and we endeavor to protect the security of your payment information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or if you contact us directly. Please do not post any personal information on Usemybusiness' website that you expect to keep private.
Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Usemybusiness site, and to otherwise provide our service to you.

Data we save
All customer accounts are stored in our database until customer inactivation or administrator deletion.
Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
Registered account owners can access and update their account information through the account homepage.
Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Saving and display of Usemybusiness listings by search engines and other sites
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with Usemybusiness - including archive.org, google.com, and groups.yahoo.com - archive or otherwise make available Usemybusiness listings.

Conditions under which Usemybusiness may release information
Usemybusiness may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
Usemybusiness may also disclose information about its users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms of Use; respond to claims that any listing or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Usemybusiness' users or the general public.

Third Party Advertising
Advertisements that appear on UseMyBusiness are sometimes displayed along side our customer's business listings and
on other pages within the website. UseMyBusiness does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by
the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on UseMyBusiness unless you choose to share it with them.
